- 接上機器之地線：
確定這台機器的動力箱及控制箱有連接地線到地面，而如果系統電壓比150伏特低時，接地線之電阻必須小於100 歐姆，
如果系統電壓為151~300伏特，則接地線之電阻須小於50歐姆，如果系統電壓為301~600伏特時，接地線之電阻必須小於10 歐姆。
- 檢查絕緣電阻：
一年至少需量測一次線與線間的絕緣電阻。除了地線和地面之外，這絕緣電阻如果電壓比150伏特低的電線，則應該為0.1MΩ 或更高，
如果電壓在151~300伏特之間的線，則應該為0.2 MΩ或更多，如果電壓比300伏特高的電線，則應該為0.4MΩ 或更高。
同樣地，量測絕緣電阻、檢查電動馬達、加熱套管和絕緣的其他裝置至少一年一次。
警告：檢查時請注意安全，應將總電源關掉避免觸電。
